Abetaneuron-PG Capsule is used for the management of neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to nerve damage or a malfunctioning nervous system. Symptoms of neuropathic pain include shooting and burning pain followed by tingling and numbness (loss of sensation). Neuropathic pain can be caused by amputation of limbs, diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to excess blood sugar level), excessive alcohol intake (alcoholism) and cancer treatment via chemotherapy.
Abetaneuron-PG Capsule contains Pregabalin (anticonvulsant), Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12), Alpha-lipoic acid (antioxidant), Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), and Folic acid (vitamin B9). Pregabalin affects the chemicals in the brain that send pain signals to the nervous system, thereby relieving nerve pain and lowering the risk of seizures (fits). Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine hydrochloride help rejuvenate and protect damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Alpha-lipoic acid helps in providing a protective effect on the nerve tissues and the brain. Folic acid helps in delivering essential nutrients to the nerves. Together, Abetaneuron-PG Capsule provides relief from neuropathic pain.
Use Abetaneuron-PG Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

A feeling of numbness and loss of sensation is also common with neuropathic pain. Usually, the body sends the pain signals when there is an injury, but with neuropathic pain, the pain that is not triggered by an injury, the body sends the pain signals unpromptedly.
