It is used to treat seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp characterized by dandruff, red skin, itching, etc. Fungal infection occurs when a fungus invades and affects the tissue on the skin. Symptoms of a fungal infection include skin rash, irritation, redness, and scaling of the skin.  

Cipla 8x Shampoo, 100 ml contains 'Ciclopirox and Zinc pyrithione'. Ciclopirox works by inhibiting the growth of fungus and reducing the infection. It causes membrane instability by accumulating inside fungal cells and interfering with protein transport across the fungal cell membrane. Zinc pyrithione slows the production of skin cells and helps reduce flakiness. As a result, it clears dandruff, red skin, itching, etc. 

Cipla 8x Shampoo, 100 ml is only for external use. Use Cipla 8x Shampoo, 100 ml as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Cipla 8x Shampoo, 100 ml for as long as prescribed for you, depending on your medical condition. Avoid contact with the nose, mouth or eyes.
